A way to add alternative organisation names for use in discovery

My users know their organisation by many acronyms and abbreviations. It'd be great if there were a way to add these to the find-my-organisation search.

Have OpenAthens' SP reporting data report on unique users

The reports tell me the quantity of transfers to my products from a particular organization, in a given timeframe, but not how many unique users these transfers equate to; is it 100 people transferring once each, or 1 person transferring 100 times?
