Change the term "Active" on accounts to mean Active

It turns out that when an account is displayed as "Active" it doesn't mean it is actually active (being used), just that the user has set a password. This is so counter intuitive that I suspect it's not just all of my colleagues (and me) who misunderstood it, but everyone.

Can you make it mean the account has been active (used) in the last month? Even just changing the term from Active to Activated would at least remove the confusion.

Is this currently impacting your ability to use OpenAthens effectively? Yes

    Hello,

Regarding your request, I believe this functionality may already exist, although I could be mistaken. In our institution, we typically rely on the "ACTIVE" (green button) status indicator to determine that user accounts have been successfully activated. This means users have received our automated registration emails and have proceeded to create their passwords.

To view specific account activity, such as the last time a user signed in or if they modified their password, we refer to their account details. Please see the attached screenshot for an example of the information available through the account view.

That said, I do agree that the term "ACTIVATED" might be a better fit for what the status actually represents.
