We're always looking for ways to improve our products, and we'd love your input to help us make that happen. Your suggestions will guide us in deciding where we should focus our future research and development.
Just sign in with your email to share your thoughts or vote for ideas you like—it'll help them get noticed!
Here’s how the portal is organised:
Librarians (Identity Providers): Share ideas that help organisations that manage user identities and provide access to online content and services. This includes improving the experience for students and researchers.
Publishers (Service Providers): Share ideas for organisations that offer content and services.
Just to clarify; We’ve given our flagship product for libraries its own identity: OpenAthens Compass.
OpenAthens as an organization has two products for publishers; OpenAthens Keystone and OpenAthens Federation, and a product for libraries that was called OpenAthens, which is now OpenAthens Compass. This change will allow us to prepare for future growth when our portfolio expands and increase clarity – clearly we have room to improve here!
The new OpenAthens Compass name helps us better organize our offerings, improve product recognition, and simplify our messaging, all while keeping the user experience the same. So, I would like to reassure everyone that there is nothing you will need to do, and you will see no changes to the product, aside from the logo update on the dashboard.
You can take a look at our blog, where we explain this more in detail, take a look at our refreshed website (where you might find some more hints) and you are more than welcome to join our upcoming webinar.
