Improve support for DOI links within the OpenAthens Redirector

We have been having issues linking to content from Sage vis the OpenAthens Redirector. This is due to the OpenAthens Redirector not honouring the URL registered against the DOI reference (e.g. As an example you can use the Crossref API to look at what is registered against DOI https://doi.org/10.4135/9781446280119.n2: https://api.crossref.org/works/10.4135/9781446280119.n2)

    We have found that the linking to articles that are part of our Philosophy Documentation Center subscriptions, which also uses DOI URLs, doesn't always redirect well to the full text from our discovery/link resolver. Sometimes, you have to click a login link to complete the authentication once you've arrived on their site.

    DOI linking for titles subscribed to on the Research Methods platform is not working for my institution because DOI links land on sk.sagepub.com and we are entitled to access only on the methods.sagepub.com domain.
