We're always looking for ways to improve our products, and we'd love your input to help us make that happen. Your suggestions will guide us in deciding where we should focus our future research and development.

Just sign in with your email to share your thoughts or vote for ideas you like—it'll help them get noticed!

Here’s how the portal is organised:

  • Librarians (Identity Providers): Share ideas that help organisations that manage user identities and provide access to online content and services. This includes improving the experience for students and researchers.

  • Publishers (Service Providers): Share ideas for organisations that offer content and services.

Allow investigation of particular username in Reports Dashboard

Sometimes when we have a user who has reported an issue, or we're waiting for a user to test out accessing a particular resource, we want to be able to check on their activity via OpenAthens Reports Dashboard.

If the user is not in the top number of users with the highest usage, we can't find them in the dashboard (as their username is somewhere below the bottom of the page where we see the message: "xxxx series are not shown. To see all data please download this report."), therefore we can't select their account to be viewed in the infographic at the top of the page.

As it is, we have to download a full report anytime we want to search for a specific username amongst the data if that username isn't in the top usage counts. Ideally we would be able to search for a specific username amongst the full set of data and select that username to be included in the infographic.
