Complete revamp of "Compatible Resources" Page and Info: Include comprehensive vendor list and detailed instructions on how all supported vendors are to be set up.

The comprehensive list should live inside of OpenAthens admin, but it should also be publicly available, replacing the unclear, low information entries now seen in the compatible providers list. The listing/database should contain information including, but not limited to: preferred setup method (proxied/federated), federation membership, details about dual authentication methods, for example, when proxied and federated access are combined to improve the linking experience, such as with NewsBank or as I recently learned, Ingenta Connect. it is difficult for even experienced OpenAthens administrators to fully understand how a resource is to be set up. Also, OpenAthens should develop a system of compatibility standards, requiring vendors to meet these standards before adding them as a compatible resource.

Is this currently impacting your ability to use OpenAthens effectively? Yes

Great idea, this would make setting up new resources or troubleshooting existing ones much easier and probably help reduce the number of tickets to Support.
